Violence never solve any issues. Love and caring for the others will certainly help to remove any ill will. It's just insanely difficult to do so when your loved ones are hurt. Sadly, we have to rise above our animal instinct to take revenge and do what Jesus taught us to forgive our neighbour. Only Love will allow us to do that.
