Mis-communication

I was at NTUC the other day, and man, was it crowded. I picked my items and went to queue up. I was certainly sure that I was there first, but this tall young fellow in office attire came after me, and walked with me at the same spot, as if he wanted to overtake me. He refused to look at me, and when I looked at him, he just plain ignored me. Later, I realised that he is with the lady in front. So I let him move in front. Not a word or any acknowledgement from the guy. As he was paying for his items, he deliberately refused to looked at me.

It was so sad. All he had to do was to say that his wife is in front. If it's anyone else, a fight would probably ensue. This lack of communication is the cause of misunderstanding which could have been easily avoided, if people take the time to acknowledge each other.
