Just bought a new compact camera from Jessop online and collected at the shop in Guildford on 13 Mar 08. Web price is GBP 69.95.Shop price is GBP 89.95. This is the cheapest Nikon/canon/fuji compact I can find so far. Don't ask me why. I only pay for Nikon or Canon, unless the other brands are given to me free. Well, maybe for a Fuji or Olympus perhaps. As can see, its a 7MP, 3x optical zoom compact camera that's like palm size. Its fits nicely in my pocket. I will still need to test out the photo quality. Its not perfect, but at such a price, I think its reasonable. Sure, I could spend more for a better quality camera with more features, but for now, I don't need so much from a compact camera. I needed a compact camera to carry around for the times I need to be very mobile and light. I definitely would prefer to carry my D50 with the 18-200mm lens & SB800 flash though.
