Num 21:4 "...the people became impatient on the way..."

this really struck me, as often i can become very impatient. Impatient with myself, my work, my development, my tasks, my family, my wife, my daughter, my friends, God, prayer....

Patience is a virtue. Everything happens in God's time. How easy it is for others to say that, but on reflection, it is true. God's time is not like ours. He is eternal, and He knows what was, what is and what will happen. He wants the best for us, and every term we go through one of those episodes, we learn something new. Without trials, we don't learn anything.

Well, I wasn't really happy with my job, although it was great, and it really expanded my horizon and I learned alot on the job. Bosses are not that great, but they taught me alot. I couldn't cope with the hard times, long hours and short deadlines, breaks were few and far in between, and when i do go, people thought I was skiving, when I really wanted to recharge.

Anyway, still at the job, but the time is used to recharge and learn further, to plan and plot. Have applied for some jobs overseas, but realise that it may not always be the best for me. I leave God in charge, and will follow whatever he tells me, although it seems like He wants me to continue to stay in Singapore for the moment.

In His time.....
