This morning, the girls woke up real early about 7.10am. I made milo for them and they were happily seating on the sofa. As I close the front door, they waved and said together, "bye bye daddy!" Then they went on to happily sipped their milo, in the quiet of the room.
It was such a touching sight, I almost didn't want to leave the house. I just want to pick them up and hugged them. How long more before they are all grown up and going on about their own ways? Although Natalie keep insisting that she would always want her daddy and protested loudly when I told her in future, she will want her friends more than her daddy. She will then cling and hugged me tightly. Too bad, I don't have a camera phone anymore, nor carry my camera with me all the time, else I will keep a snapshoot of them with me. I pray that the image stays in my head for a long time.
Sadly, coming back to Singapore with work committments and obligations, i don't seem to spend enough time with them. Guess that is the way with working fathers. I will try to cherish what little time I have with them.
With family and all, Georgia & I hardly have any couple time at all. Who could we leave the girls with? It just so difficult to leave them when they have never been apart from us. Perhaps when they are all slightly older. natalie is able to stay out with her godparents and aunties, so sooner or later, the girls will become more independent.
At the moment, we just want to enjoy these moments. Thank God for His blessings!
