After half a day in the library working on my dissertation, I met Georgia and the girls in town for tea at Krispy Kreme.
While working along high street, we decided to just walk along the river Wey and go down to Shalford. Well, we didn't really get to walk by the river, but along shalford park.
Rebecca enjoying herself kicking the flowers by the side of the path!
We stopped by the Seahorse inn to have dinner. Its really a lovely old place built in 1711 and refurbished in 1992. What an amazing place. Its really nice to sit there and have a nice lemonade watching the cars go by through the full length window!
We had pizza and fish & chips. It would have been a lovely dinner, except for the fact that Rebecca refused to sit in her high chair (that's why no photos - no mood for that) and she keep grabbing for the knife, fork and plate on the table. She cannot sit still while on our lap and even tried to pounce on the nice salt&peppershake in the middle of the table! Guess its that age, where she is always interested in exploring....oh why are our kids so active? Where do they get the energy from? "energy cannot be created nor destroyed!" They sure didn't get it from me...hmmm.
Natalie is still happy after the long walks to and from, as she gets to sit on the stroller and I have to push her all the way back. Beats having to carry her, what with our bags and stuff. But This is what happens to me after that walk......
