Rebecca's walking (6 Jun 08)

Well, Its the day when Rebecca is actually confident enough to be walking more than usual.

Before, she will hold on to things and cruise around, or drop to all fours and crawl. Boy, can she crawl and climb really fast!

Today, she begins to be walking around instead of cruising, and she is so proud of herself, laughing and smiling as she walked from place to place. Its really a joy to see her enjoy herself so.

I thank God every moment for the opportunity to see both my girls growing up and sharing the important moments and triumps in their life, at least as much as I could. Its a choice and a sacrifice. Many would think I, as a man, is just being silly, when I should be concentrating on my career. To tell the truth, my career is not high flying, cause i never bother about career advancement, other than whether I am doing something meaningful, in service of God, country and my fellow man. Many may even question why I stick to being in the government agency, despite not being a scholar and CEP not so high either. Its because I believe that its where I can serve my fellow countrymen best, plus the fact that I get to take holidays every year.... Seriously though, its really God's providence that I am serving Him by working in a government agency.
