Do justice

Isaiah 1:10-17
Psalm 50
Matthew 10:34-11:1

Isiah 1:17 says "learn to do good; seek justice, rescue the oppressed, defend the orphan, plead for the widow."

God do not need our sacrifices; we do need to sacrifice to Him. We need God more than He need us. After all, He created us. We depend on Him for everything. He would much rather see us do justice than sacrifice for Him. Doing justice will help us to be closer to Him. Doing the right things will.

I have been guilty often of not being just, of not speaking out when I see a wrong being done. Yet I could still go to church for my Sunday obligations, as if nothing is wrong. I see the folly of my ways. Of what use is it if I were to attend mass, yet do not do what is right? It is a bigger sin than not attending mass.

Thank God for the guidance.

Dear Lord, Please let me have the courage to do justice and speak up like Jesus does. Amen!
