I have gone back to running since about 3-4 weeks ago. It's tough due to the lack of exercises for so long. But I am glad it's progressing well.
I have also bought a soulus watch to replace my polar one.

This is a finger touch HRM. vastly different from the polar chest strap HRM. now I don't have to wear a chest strap to measure my heart rate. But it takes some getting used to to put my finger on the metal part to get a reading. Still haven't figured out how to get an average reading though.
