2 days to flight time to Uk... counting down. This will probably be my last blog from Singapore, as I go offline tomorrow (Starhub can't suspend my max-online, so I have to cancel it, will probably take up other service provider when I am back for good). I need to pack the modem and router too.

It has been a hectic week since last Wednesday, when I stopped work. Its all packing and packing, clearing the house, and packing the luggage. Can't believe there is so much packing to do. It seems that if we do not go overseas for a few years, the packing is too much trouble.

We also got our bank draft and the medical done.

There was also lots of lunch and dinners together.

Friday night(17 Aug) - dinner with Bernard, Christina, Amelia & Randal. Christina had to fly to US on Saturday, so we had an early farewell. That's when we took the photos at our place.

Saturday (18 Aug) Lunch with mum & dad, David & Connie & the Selenas, Kok Hwa & Joey & yin & Kai, and Shirley at Fortunate Restaurant in Tao Payoh. followed by shopping there. can't believe things are so cheap there. Good buys. David also had to fly to the US that evening.

Sunday Night(19 Aug) - dinner with Leongs, Tans & Tays at 342 Woodlands. Had lovely pasta prepared by Alvin, not to mention his famous coffee. Quite nice of them, given that the children, except Mary Anne got their CAs the next day and Judith got her PSLE prelims.Pray that they will do their best in the exams!

Tuesday - tomorrow, we will be shifting to dad's place to spend the night there, so we have got to have the house packed by tomorrow afternoon. This will be the last night here, so we thought we should let Natalie & Rebecca spend more time with their grandparents.

Wednesday - Farewell dinner with Tans, Siows & Phoons at Changi Airport. Mum & dad has kindly agreed to bring the luggage to the airport when mum finished her dancing class at 9pm, so we can leave for the airport earlier. That's also when we will check-in and fly off.

Well, that should be enough to chew over until I write again in the UK.

Thanks to all the well wishes of our family and friends. 1 year might not be very long, but when you do see ech other at least once a week, it seems forever. We would be back before anyone can miss us. Anyway, we are still easily contactable via phone, email and webpage. So to all who miss us, do leave us a message and email.
