Isaiah 6:8 writes: "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I; send me!’"
This passage touches me, for Isaiah is so brave to respond to God's call, and place his trust in God, without knowing what is coming. He must be close to God in spirit indeed to put his trust in God, to know that it is God calling him, and not the evil one.
My Lord, Send thy spirit to me, so that I too could respond to your call and know that it is You who calls me. Amen
